What are the Opportunities to be Involved in the Gold Coast PHCO?
There are opportunities for everyone to be involved in the PHCO through an extensive and developing governance framework that includes networks, consortias, advisory groups, or through your organisations and associations.
Involvement in consultations and input into planning is encouraged at every level. You do not have to be a member of the PHCO to be extensively involved. Membership entails specific responsibilities, such as electing Directors and holding them accountable for the performance of the PHCO and does not suit everyone.
The beginnings of a Governance Framework for the PHCO has been commenced by the Primary Care Partnership Council (PCPC) over the past three years. This will continue to evolve and develop as greater numbers of organisations and individuals become involved in integrated and coordinated services.
