Improved Health and Wellbeing - A Positive Future For The Gold Coast Region

Gold Coast Medicare Local is an independent, locally run, not-for-profit company. Company members are General Practice Gold Coast, Gold Coast City Council, and the Gold Coast Primary Care Partnership Council.

We aim to improve the Health and Wellbeing of the Gold Coast community by working in partnership with health and community services such as General Practice, Allied Health, Mental Health, Aged Care and Youth Services.

Medicare Locals are being established across Australia to co-ordinate and integrate health and community services. We are tasked with identifying local needs and creating strategies to respond to them.
